E-TRANSCRIPT™

E-Transcript files surpass the functionality of an ASCII file. No special software is required to open, browse, search or print an E-Transcript. The free E-Transcript viewer is all that’s required. E-Transcript files can be delivered via email, on disc, or within a Publisher Bundle containing all the applicable transcripts, linked exhibits and synchronized video from the case.

Each E-Transcript has guaranteed page and line integrity and comes as a
read-only, accurate, encrypted, virus and password-protected transcript. For maximum security and authentication, an electronic signature is included in the E-Transcript.

Benefits of an E-Transcript:
• Printing Power - Recipients may print single transcripts, condensed transcripts (up to 16 pages of transcripts per sheet), and word indices.

Realtime/LiveNote Stream™

With realtime, you can view a transcript as it’s being created by the court reporter. The text is delivered in draft form directly from the reporter’s computer to the attorney’s computer either through a serial cable connection or wirelessly. This draft can be taken with you at the end of the proceeding for your immediate use in preparing for other events on the case.

A LiveNote Stream™ feed is transmitted over the Internet and can be viewed either in the LiveNote software or on-line with the user name and password that is set up prior to the event. This type of transmission is especially useful when there are parties who will be participating remotely.

Our realtime specialist accompanies our court reporters to ensure that a successful connection is made and to answer any questions the attorneys may have about the realtime software functions.

Having instant access to testimony help you achieve an edge in your case. You, or any on-site or off-site team member, can receive live transcript text directly from the court reporter’s system. Code of Professional Ethics (NCRA):
1. Render services to all parties in a competent manner. A CLVS shall maintain the integrity of the legal video profession.
2. Perform all tasks in a professional manner, observing all laws, rules and orders of the court relating to the proceedings.
3. Refrain from performing any service under terms or conditions that will compromise, in any way, his or her impartiality or the exercise of good judgment. A CLVS shall not adversely affect the fair and impartial portrayal of the proceeding.
4. Refrain from doing anything that affects the impartiality of the CLVS.
5. Absent the consent of the parties concerned or a court order, a CLVS shall not reveal confidential information entrusted in or provided to such CLVS by any of the parties.
6. Be truthful and accurate when making public statements or when advertising the CLVS' qualifications or the services provided.
7. Determine fees independently, except when established by statute or court order, entering into no unlawful agreements with others on the fees to any user.
8. Refrain from giving, directly or indirectly, any gift, incentive, reward or anything of value to attorneys, clients, witnesses, insurance companies or any other person or entities associated with the litigation, or to the representatives or agents of any of the foregoing, except for (1) items that do not exceed $100 in the aggregate per recipient each year, or, (2) pro bono services as defined by the NCRA Guidelines for Professional Practice or by applicable state and local laws, rules and regulations.
