Our familial atmosphere and friendly office staff are just a couple of great reasons to work at Jensen Reporting. Our busy agency truly has something for everyone. We also offer a wide variety of work assignments and schedule flexibility. We promote open communication between our staff and reporters and facilitate that by holding quarterly reporter meetings.
Reporters new to the profession complete a two-week, paid training period where they accompany experienced reporters on a variety of assignments. Also, expert proofreaders are available to you at no charge to ensure your transcripts are of the highest quality.
As a leader in the court reporting field, we stay current with the latest innovations for reporters, including our “on-line office” where reporters can view their personal calendar, turn in transcripts, track their assignment history and more. We also offer direct deposit and pay every two weeks. Additionally, our reporters receive incentive pay for degrees and additional certifications.
Quarterly training workshops are provided for Case CATalyst users to assist with continuing education and to keep you informed of ways to utilize your software more efficiently. You’ll also receive a referral fee for referring another reporter to Jensen and commission for bringing in new clients.
Our on-staff specialist assists realtime reporters in making successful connections and also accompanies them to assignments for technical support.
Internship
At Jensen Reporting we make it easy for court reporting students to gain experience in the reporting field. Interns meet with a member of our office staff, who gives an overview of our agency and answers any questions the student may have. A student may shadow one of our working reporters at any time even if they wish to do so after meeting their school’s internship requirements. Internship is also a great way to boost your motivation when you need it. Simply call our Scheduling Department to set up a date and time.
